Code 43 ". Windows defaults to the Microsoft basic video driver. I worked with the Microsoft Answer Desk yesterday and they tried via remote to fix the problem but were unable to. I went to the AMD site and was very confused whether there was one or not and what to select. Your help would be appreciated. Looks like the Radeon HD will not get an official Windows 10 driver, it is considered Legacy now.
Looks like the driver is on the list on their site, you just have to remember the full name to find it in their list for manual downloads.

When I select the Start button on my bottom bar, it displays fine, the first time. But if I mouse over any tile or menu option in the start menu, the font immediately turns to gibberish.
I can't read anything on the start menu. This includes action center and anything else tied to that bar. Games and everything else seems to work fine but the start menu is something that is incredibly annoying. I could re-install stardock and go back to windows 7 UI. But I was hoping to experience this supposedly great new Windows 10 UI. Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community.

Check the Device status in the Device Manager. The yellow exclamation mark provides an indication of a device's current status and could mean that there is a system resource conflict, a driver issue, or any number of other things.

I tried Method 1 and Method 2 with no luck. There are no flags in Device Manager. Everything looks good from that perspective. I haven't tried Method 3. I am concerned running 8. I'm going to give it a couple of more weeks to see if AMD or MS releases and update that mystically fixes the problem. Otherwise I will go back to windows 8.
